It seems clear to us that the United States has more in common with Iran than may be apparent to many people. The present situation in Iraq and Syria, with the rise of ISIS, is an immediate example of where Iran and the U.S. could be doing some good against a common enemy. How nice it would be if these two great countries could overcome some of their differences, going back to the 1953 coup, and cooperate to do some good in the world.
